'Holding Cell' Devlog: Time Introduced
It's not a lot of progress, but I started to add time to my game.
The game will have time limits, which will be represented by a 24-hour clock in the room showing the time. Similar to time in the Dead Rising games, time is faster than real-time, in this video, I set it to a minute in-game time for every 2 seconds of real-time and I can change how long an in-game minute can be in real-time.
In addition, whenever the player is interacting with someone, it pauses time, allowing you to read the dialogue at your own pace.
This is going to be useful for my overall idea, as it gives a time limit for the demonstration and it will be part of what I call 'Event Triggers'. which will be for later development.
