'Holding Cell' Devlog: Setting up Route 1
AND I'M BACK!
After doing Igor Meme for the Spooktober Game Jam (plus another Jam) I'm finally back to developing Project Smile's Holding cell demo!
And how I'm resuming the work is by starting to work on the routes that the player could go via exploration gameplay. starting with a route that doesn't require the event trigger.
If the player annoys Egbert too much, then Egbert will react and punch Tim, resulting in a route where Egbert ends up in Isolation.
So far, I've only set up the starting point of the route with Egbert moving before cutting to black, then fading out to a new scene in the cell where Tim and Egbert are in a different position, Egbert is nowhere to be found, and a new face will appear in the cell.
A good start to doing these routes. Hopefully, I can get them done in the upcoming months, maybe before 2026 or early 2026. We'll see how this goes.
Hopefully, you will follow the development logs as I go through each of the routes.
