'Holding Cell' Devlog: Sequence 1-3 animation
Project Smile Development Log:
I added animation for Oliver, Egbert and the Guards, at least for the sequences 1-3 up until the setup for 4. I do have an idea to add speech bubbles before Sequence 4, so I'm going to do that next.
In other news, I've submitted Project Smile to try and get it showcased in the London Game Festival next year. Applying took a long while, and I couldn't rush it, so I was careful with my submission, even took the time to make a showcase video and a press kit as part of the application.
I also included screenshots for the showcase, which I'm going to put in the main Itch page after posting this. to give a sense of what the upcoming Demo will have and maybe catch the interest of others.
I don't expect it to be accepted, if it does, then it would be great, and I would give myself a good deadline to get my demo done. If I get rejected, I would be okay with it and continue to work on this project, even if I don't technically have a deadline.
Till I get a response, I'm going to continue with the work and move on to Sequence 4.
