'Holding Cell' Devlog: Expanding Tutorial


Project Smile Development Log:

I suddenly realised that the player might not know about how inventory and items work in my game, so I decided to go back into the Interrogation scene and present the features I made in the Holding Cell in which would be used as a tutorial section.

Now, before going to the holding cell, the player will know how to open the inventory, click on the item and use 'inspect' and 'show'.

While doing that, I also made an asset for the buttons, making it more towards the game style and not the Unity style. and another item that gives information about Hueford (while serving how you can open and read stuff.), which will appear in the Holding Cell and serve a purpose.

Of course, this needs a couple of improvements, such as adding text instructions for clicking on the item in the inventory, which I can do while creating the different routes.
