'Holding Cell' Devlog: Inventory (3/?)
Project Smile Development Log:
I have now added 'Inspect' to the Inventory system, allowing the player to inspect items, both when the item is on the floor and when the player has the item on them.
For Items that have a lot more to show (such as books), I made it so that you can flip through the pages. That way, it can show more depth.
This can be a way for the player to read stuff or look into the worldbuilding. Of course, this won't be the only function it serves, but that will be for later.
So far, most of the inventory interaction is completed and I can move on to other things to put in the prototype. I will revisit the Inventory at a later stage of development.
