'Holding Cell' Devlog: Inventory (1/?)
I have now added an Inventory system.
How it works is that when you are close to an item that can be interacted with, you can inspect it or pick it up (so far, I only managed to do 'Pick up'.. When you pick it up, it stores in your inventory.
You can access your inventory at any time. While in the inventory, you can't move or interact with any other items. You can only carry up to two items at a time.
This is still a work in progress. I plan to give the ability to drop items and inspect items. The whole idea of an inventory system is for you to use items and objects to help with communications, give a gift to someone who might like the item, use the item for yourself, etc.
