Don’t worry, I’m not cancelling anything if you were concerned about that.

But there is bad news.

Yesterday, I encountered a problem with saving data for Free Time Mode, pretty much screwing up the entire saving system that I set up.

What I plan was for the saving system to remember gift items that the player received and how many Monocoins the player has that carrys on throughout the game.

But I ended up with an error that made it so that the saving system doesn’t work even if I don’t include such data.

I am looking further into this issue and will talk to actual programmers about fixing this issue.

Does this mean that Chapter 1: Daily Life has halted development?

Fortunately, the answer is no.

I am someone who prioritizes the story first before gameplay, so I decided to continue development and not include Free Time Mode for the next update, but rather for a hotfix once the issue is resolved.

This also means that the saving system will be temporarily disabled until the issue is resolved, so for the next update, you won’t be able to go back to a certain point in the game if you decide to exit the game. To make up for this problem, I will allow the player to skip the Prologue and start playing Chapter 1 from the main menu.

In the meantime, I am going to replace Free Time Mode with a linear version of the mode where Huey hangs out with characters.

Which characters?

Well, I decided to let you guys decide.

I am going to put out a poll that allow you to choose who you want Huey to hang out with during Free Time.

You will have until 1^st of June to vote. Once voting ends the top votes will be the characters Huey will hang out with during Free Time Event.

So yeah, I might hit a roadblock in development, but I am still willing to continue and hopefully solve this issue to give you a better game experience.

In other news, the video version of the Prologue is near completion, just waiting for one more voice actor to bring in their lines and the video will be ready.
