It’s time, it is here, and I hope you all are ready for the first chapter of the Killing School Survival!

And there is more to this update, so let’s bring them in for more details.

Chapter 1

The update of Chapter 1: Daily Life, is now available, as the story of CiDR2 expands after the prologue, from right where we left off in the prologue up until the first body discovery to conclude the Daily Life segment.

This chapter allows you to play as Huey Freeman, as he goes through the first few days in the bunker and explores more of the bunker while dealing with everyone in this bunker, as they try to organize themselves to keep themselves together and find a possible escape.

Until I reintroduce saving in the next Hotfix, I allowed the players to skip the prologue and play Chapter 1 right away, that way, you don’t need to go through the prologue before getting to the new stuff.

New voices!

The cast of voices had expanded from 5 to 12!

In addition to most of the voices having more lines (with a couple of voices that will come in the Hotfix Update) there are now more voices for the following characters

Music!

That’s right! I managed to find a composer to make original music for CiDR2!

So far, the only music that was made is the opening jingle for the title card of Chapter 1: Daily Life. More music will come in the future to add in the game or replace existing music to freshen things up.

More to come…

While this update brings new stuff to CiDR2, that is only the first step for Daily Life, as I am going to add a few more things before I start on Deadly Life.

There will be two planned Hotfix Updates (results may vary), that will add more stuff to Daily life, including stuff that I didn’t manage to add before the update.

The first Hotfix Update will add the remaining audio clips, such as voices and music.

The second Hotfix Update will add a new mode to the game, FREE TIME MODE!

This mode will allow the player to roam around the bunker, hang out with cartoon characters and collect gifts and dolls. This was originally going to be in the default update, until I found out my saving method wasn’t working, so I have to redo the saving system to make Free Time Mode a great experience that can save your progress.

Once I manage to add Free Time Mode, I can start working on Chapter 1: Deadly Life, once I’m working on that part of the chapter, I will also be working on the Video Version of Chapter 1: Daily Life.
