Yep, there is a minor update for CiDR2. but it's all to start development for Chapter 1: Daily Life.

The game now has a save system!

yep, now you can save your progress! (and as in progress, I mean skip a bunch of cutscenes to jump into the middle of the Prologue chapter)

for now, it's nothing, but it will be useful to include more ways to save progress.

Here are the patch notes:

New additions:

- A Save system is now in place, you can save at checkpoints.

- a new button is added 'Back to Menu' where you can go back to the main menu at any point in the game.

(note: any progress you made prior to a saved checkpoint will be lost if you use the 'Back to Menu' button.)

- A new 'Load game' button is in the main menu, allowing you to load to the latest checkpoint

-the 'Load Game Button is unclickable until you click on 'New game' first

Note: there is only 1 checkpoint in the game so far, there will be more checkpoints when Chapter 1: Daily Life comes out. The saving system will improve overtime, for now, it is at its earliest stages.

Update on C1:Daily Life progress:

I am now more than halfway through the writing stage for the next chapter. once I finish writing and start development, I will begin making a video version of the Prologue. during that time, I will start accepting voice actors who had submitted into the casting call.
