CiDR2 has a new update!

Okay it’s a hotfix with a couple of minor additions, but this is what I mean when this game is ongoing development, it will start crappy, but make improvements along the way, and for the first improvements, I listened to your feedback and made some adjustments.

I like to thank Raritydarling for providing grammar corrections and playtesting the hotfix before release, who pointed out many issues with the game in which are now solved.

So, what’s new with this update aside from fixes?

A PAUSE MENU!

Yep, I have achieved the ability to PAUSE! Allowing you to take a break or do other things in the menu.

So far, there are only three things to do in the pause menu, resuming the game, exiting the game and Character Bios.

Once again, it’s a start and later down the line, I’m planning to add more things to the menu, such as saving the game (once I figure out how saving works), a section for Truth Buttons, a section for inventory and more. I will add them in once I get to those features.

Casting Call coming to a close.

In other news, with the end of the year coming up and the deadline for the voice casing coming close, I will soon announce the first wave of voice actors who will be part of the game! Not all of the characters and the casting call will reopen in the new year. When the voice actors are chosen, I will start working on Hotfix 2, where the voices will be included.
