Some fun facts about the characters.

Rebecca:

My main inspiration for Rebecca Redheart is Red from South Park. I remember that she was a playable character in South Park Let's Go Tower Defense on Xbox 360. I remember that in her character bio, she is referred as 'Rebecca', which is where I got the name from.

Other inspirations come from My Hero Academia, mainly the characters Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki. The former for appearance design (such as having red hair). the latter is more towards character development. Playing the demo would show how they are similar but under different circumstances.

Minda:

In early written concept development, Rebecca was an only child and was in her early teens. But then considered a sibling would help bring up the most emotional part of the story, and thus Minda was made to be her older sister.

The name was from researching for a name that fits with her sibling relationship with Rebecca, from what I found, Minda had several meanings that all relate, from Protection and shelter, knowledgeable and understanding, soft and gentle. all best describe the supportive and relaxed older sister.
